1916 Company incorporated to acquire the business of smallware manufacturers and dealers carried on by Messrs Berisford at Victoria Mills, Congleton, and Gas Mills, Macclesfield, and Brook Mills, Derby and also in London.

Later became a maker of ribbons

1983 Acquired British Trimmings (Holdings) Ltd. Renamed Berisfords Group plc.
