Bernard Thomas Beaton (1909-1938)

Bernard Thomas Beaton was born in 1909 and received his technical education at The Automobile Engineering Training College, Chelsea.

He subsequently obtained further practical experience with Goude and Son, Stibbington, and then took charge of the repair shops of Clarke Bros., Peterborough.

After a period as Managing Director of Hatchard and Perceval, Ltd., body-builders, he was appointed to take charge of the final inspection department with Dennis Bros., Ltd., Guildford.

For three years prior to his death he had been proprietor of The White Garage, Basingstoke.

He died in August, 1938, at the age of 29.

He was elected a Graduate in 1931.
