1893 'The business of the Bescot Forge Company, and also that of Messrs. Wilson Lloyd and Company at Wednesbury, have been purchased on behalf of a new company, to be registered under the title of the Bescot Forge Company (Limited) who will take over as going concerns and carry on both works. Mr. Wilson Lloyd, M. P., the former proprietor these undertakings, will occupy a seat on the board of the new company.'[1]
