1878 Partnership dissolved. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, Alfred Betton and William Trow, heretofore carrying on business at Icknield Port-road, Birmingham, as Engineers and Machinists, under the style or firm of Betton, Trow, and Co., has been this day dissolved by mutual consent. All debts owing to or from the said partnership to be received and paid by the said Alfred Betton, by whom the business will in future be carried on...'[2]
