Birmingham Rim Works

John Thomas James founded the Birmingham Rim Works, in Loveday Street, Birmingham.[2]

He manufactured cycle and motor cycle rims for tyres

1896 J. T. James (Rims) of Loveday Street[3]

1902 After John's death, his brother Harry probably ran the firm which was re-named James H. and Co. (Rims).

By 1911 two of John's son, Archibald and Douglas, were motor car parts manufacturers, but it is not clear what the name of their business was.
