1916 Blantyre Engineering Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £10,000, to acquire the Blantyre Engineering Works and Foundry, and to carry on the business of engineers, founders in iron, steel, and other metals.[1] Conveyor and colliery plant manufacturers.[2]

1979 The company went into receivership.[3]
