1903 Company formed. 'Bolsover Bros., Ltd., has just been registered with a capital of £800, in £1 shares, to adopt an agreement with R. H. Bolsover and H. W. Bolsover, to acquire the business carried on at Eaglescliffe, Durham, as Bolsover Brothers, and to carry on the business of brass and ironfounders, engineers, manufacturers of agricultural implements, motor cars and machinery, metal workers, boilermakers, millwrights, iron and steel converters, water supply engineers, etc. The subscribers are R. H. Bolsover, Eaglescliffe, Durham; H. W. Bolsover, Eaglescliffe, Durham, Engineer; Mrs. E. Bolsover, Eaglescliffe, Durham; Miss Bolsover, Eaglescliffe, Durham. Eaglescliffe, Durham, W. Danby, Eaglescliffe, Durham, engineer; B. Watson, solicitor; N. M. Bolsover, Stockton, solicitor. No initial public issue.'[1]

1907-09 Produced a steam car

1914 Legal case against them for supplying an engine for a boat that failed to work as required.[2]
