1963 Company incorporated

1964 Booker Group formed a joint venture, Booker Bowmar Ltd, with Bowmar Instrumentation Corporation of USA; Reliance Controls of Walthamstow, maker of helical potentiometers, became part of Booker Bowmar[1]

1971 Name changed to Spectrol Holdings Ltd

1972 Name changed to Caricor Holdings Ltd

1985 Name changed to Carrier Holdings Ltd, of London

1986 Name changed to Sikorsky Holdings (UK) Ltd, a subsidiary of UT Holdings (UK) Ltd, and then became Sikorsky Holdings (UK) PLC of Leatherhead.

1987 Sikorsky Holdings (UK) PLC was renamed United Technologies Holdings PLC, involved in lifts and elevators, automotive components, refrigeration and air conditioning.
