Boundary Bridge, Liverpool

From Graces Guide

in Kirkdale, Liverpool.

This was built as a masonry bridge in 1836, and was widened in 1861 by the addition of cast iron arches on each side. It carried Boundary Street (on the parish boundary) over the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.

The 1890/1893 O.S. map shows the Liverpool North Shore Flour and Rice Mills located by the north west corner of the bridge, and the Eyptian Oil Mills at the south east corner.[1]
