1886 Partnership dissolved. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, John Arthur Bowden and John Philkins Toby, carrying on business as Brass Workers, Gas Engineers, Plumbers, and Smiths, at No. 20, Magdalen-street, in the county of the city of Exeter, under the style or firm of Bowden and Toby, was this day dissolved, by mutual consent, as from the 17th day of April instant; and all credits due to and all debts owing by the said partnership will be received and paid by the said John Arthur Bowden, by whom the business will be carried on at the same place as heretofore...'[1]
