1950 Industrial Banking, Export and Import Credit, Finance for Manufacturers, Retailers and Purchasers. Hire Purchase Plans for all Machinery, Agricultural Equipment, Refrigeration Plant and Other Essential Capital Goods.
1952 24th AGM; subsidiaries were Bowmaker (Plant) Ltd and Norcon Ltd[3]
1958 All new hire-purchase and credit agreements would henceforth be handled by Bowmaker (Commercial) Ltd[4]

1969 Acquired by C. T. Bowring, insurance brokers[5]
By 1972 was a member of the Bowring Group[6]
