Boyd Motors

From Graces Guide

Boyd produced a motorcycle from 1923 to 1924.

The firm of Boyd Motors was based in Leicester.

Taking advantage of the ready availability of the 147cc Villiers two-stroke engine, they used other bought-in motorcycle components and built a few lightweight machines. Finding it hard to locate agents who would market their machines outside their immediate area, they were unable to expand and soon disappeared from sight.
