It was the pioneer firm of the industry, founded by the father of Bernard Brett at the end of the 1890s.[1]

1897 Brett's Ltd was formed as a public company to acquire the business carried on by Brett's Stamping Co Ltd and certain patents of Edward Samuel Brett [2]

1898 The company was registered on 16 November, to take over a portion of the business of Brett's. [3]

1937 Drop forgers and stampers. [4]

1961 Manufacturers of carbon and alloy steel drop forgings, and hot yellow metal pressings. 230 employees.
