1894 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned John Henry Brinjes and Paul Thomas Goodwin carrying on business as Engineers Millwrights and Ironfounders of 25 Fieldgate-street WhitechapeL in the county of London under the style or firm of Brinjes and Goodwin has been dissolved by mutual consent as and from the 28th day of November 1894. All debts due and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Paul Thomas Goodwin, by whom the said business will in future be carried on.'[2]

1911 Charles Joseph Seaman purchased the business and converted it into a limited liability company.
