British Aviation Services Limited (Britavia) of Municipal Airport, Southend-on-Sea

1946 Incorporated as British Aviation Services

1954 General Steam Navigation Co acquired a majority holding in the group, which owned Silver City Airways, car-ferry operators, and Aquila Airways, the only British flying-boat operators[1]

By 1957 was part of British Aviation Services group[2].

1962 Eoin Mekie was chairman.

By 1989 was a designer of aircraft components, part of the Bricom Group[3]
