1931 Percy John Davis was appointed a director of the company

1936 British Mercedes-Benz Ltd opened showrooms in Park Lane

later became Mercedes-Benz (Great Britain)


In the 1920s-1930s Mercedes-Benz built very few chassis for Britain .

Pullman Roadways of Croydon ran a fleet of five 20 seater Mercedes-Benz luxury coaches. These ran on the London-Southampton-Bournemouth and London-Torquay-Plymouth routes.

1938 They constructed a forward control model to seat 44 passengers.
