By 1923 British Pitometer Co., Ltd had been formed as subsidiary company of Glenfield and Kennedy to develop the use and sale of the instruments required in connexion with water waste investigations, trunk main surveys, pump slip and meter tests. All the instruments, Venturi tubes, etc., supplied by the Company were manufactured by Glenfield and Kennedy.
