This line was just 1.25 miles long, from Brynmawr to the GWR at Nantyglo

1905 The Brynmawr & Western Valleys Railway was completed, connecting Brynmawr, Breconshire, with Nantyglo, Monmouthshire.

1906 Opened to passengers

1923 Became part of London, Midland and Scottish Railway and the Great Western Railway

1962 The line was closed to passengers
