Originally founded in Germany as Schaffer and Budenberg.
1914 Moved from Whitworth Street in central Manchester to a new factory at Woodfield Road, Broadheath, Altrincham.
1918 Became Budenberg Gauge Co when Christian Frederick Budenberg purchased all of the issued shares in the company.
1939 Christian Frederick Budenberg Junr was director.
1940 Advert for gauges
1945 Advert for dial and recording instruments
1991 Acquired by Burnfield, specialist heating group[1]
1997 Relocated to Irlam, Manchester.
2020 Moved back to Broadheath, Manchester. See Budenberg Gauge Co Ltd website.
