1936 Bunzl and Blach (British) Ltd was incorporated as a private company, the British arm of an Austrian company.

1949 Bunzl Textile Co Ltd was incorporated as a private company to take over and developing the grey cloth business of Bunzl and Blach (British)[1]

1954 Bunzl Textile Holdings was incorporated as a private company to acquire the whole of Bunzl and Blach (British) and Bunzl Textile Co. It was then converted into a public company.
