Bute Slip Dock Co

1911 It was reported that the Bute Slip Dock at Ardmaleish had been acquired by Mr. T. C. Glen-Coats and Mr. Alfred Mylne, both well-known yacht designers.[1]

1913 The Bute Slip Dock Company Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £7,500, to acquire and carry on the business of Dewar and M'Intyre, boat and yacht builders at Ardmaleish Point.[2]

1925 The death occurred of Charles Mylne, who had carried on the business with his brother Alfred.[3]

1975 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[4]
