1911 Living at 33 Mornington Crescent, St Pancras: Christian Frederick Mebes (age 47 born Germany), Motor Engineer. With his wife Rhoda Margaret Mebes, two daughters and sons Christian Frederick Mebes (age 20 born Walworth), Motor Engineer, and John Shepherd Mebes (age 14 born Walworth).[1]

1956 Died. 'On Friday, May 18, 1956, at the Chalfont and Gerrard's Cross Hospital. Christian Frederick Mebes dearest husband of Florence and devoted father of Margaret.'[2]
