Civil Engineer. Born 27th April 1854.

1898 Reported on the Cardiff Waterworks extensions to the British Association of Waterworks Engineers. [1]

1926 On account of advancing age and indifferent health, Mr Priestley resigned his position as waterworks engineer to the Cardiff Corporation. On the 26th April, it was forty-five years since he commenced duty as assistant water engineer, and on June 25th it was thirty-one years since he took up the position under the Corporation as waterworks engineer.[2]
