1911 Living at 138 Castle Street, Luton: Charles Linley (age 50 born London), Motor car Manufacturer. With his wife Alice Linley (age 31 born Peterborough) and his step-daughter Irene Smith (age 8 born Swaffam). Also his mother Lisa Linley (age 80 born Paris - British subject) and his brother Owen Linley (age 58 born Windsor), Technical Journalist. One servant.[4]

1933 October 6th. Died, of 321 Camden Road, Islington. Probate to Cecil Linley, literary worker.
