1897 C. S. Whitelaw was registered, with a capital of £30,000, to acquire and carry on the business of a cooper, vat builder and stave merchant, previously carried on at 100 Commerce Street by C. S. Whitelaw.[1]
1956 The company, which had previously provided and repaired casks for them, became a wholly owned subsidiary of Teacher (Distillers) Ltd.[2]
