- 1904 He was joined by Mr. W. McC. Horrell.
- 1919 A limited company was formed.
- 1922 British Industries Fair Advert for Oral Shoes for Men.'We are the Makers of Shoes that sell more Shoes'. Manufacturers of Men's Medium and Best Grades Boots and Shoes, Machine Welted, Screwed and Stitched, and Machine-sewn and Stitched, in Black or Coloured Leathers, for walking purposes. - Between 1948 and 1954 a complete modernisation of buildings and machinery was carried out.
