To Machinists, Bobbin Turners, Colliery and Mill Proprietors. Messrs OLIVER, SON, & APPLETON are favoured with instructions from Messrs G. Ambler and Sons, announce for SALE by AUCTION, on Wednesday, March Eighth, 1876, at the Works, as above.
VALUABLE LATHES, lathe gauntrees, shafting, drums, costly and modern bobbin turning machinery, scrap iron, two guy cranes, chains, and gearing; valuable horizontal steam engine, which can be used for winding or general purposes, on wrought-iron bed, 32ft. long, 17 3/4in. cylinder, 36in. stroke, 10ft. fly wheel and feed pump, by Messrs Easton, Amos, & Anderson, of Erith ; a pair of spur wheels, 7ft. 1in, and 21in. diameter respectively, 7 1/2in. teeth, 2 1/4in. pitch ; also a winding drum, 8ft. diam., 6ft. face, with cast iron flanges; also balk and half timber. ....ref>Yorkshire Post and Leeds Intelligencer - 26 February 1876</ref>
