Cannon

From Graces Guide

Cannon were based in Sion Mills near the Northern border of Ireland.

  • They refurbished trucks but went into production of PSVs in 1998.
  • Cannon introduced two bus models - the Softline with a purpose built midi chassis, front engined, bonneted and powered by 133bhp Cummins four-cylinder B series engine.
  • The second bus model was the Hiline which had a six-cylinder Cummins B-series engine mounted vertically under the floor.
  • 1999 The Low Line bus was introduced - a 9.5m low floor chassis powered by a rear mounted four-cylinder engine.
  • By the end of 1999 over 26 Low Line chassis had been ordered and built.
