1952 Private company. Cannon Iron Foundries renamed Cannon Holdings.
1953 The results of Cannon Holdings incorporated a subsidiary Cannon Industries that had been formed for a particular purpose, namely a separate and more specialised direction than was possible under the previous constitution. It continued to serve the chemical industry together with a new subsidiary, Cannon (CP), established to handle chemical plant sales and service.
