- Tom Briggs, of Cleckheaton, established 1812
- Critchley, Sharp and Tetlow, of Cleckheaton and Huddersfield, established before 1824
- A. Duckworth and Sons, of Rochdale, established before 1824
- Fleming, Birkby and Goodall, of Halifax and Brighouse, established 1785
- Joshua Lister and Sons, of Mirfield, established 1808
- W. V. Middleton, of Cleckheaton, established 1914
- James Taylor and Sons, of Cleckheaton, established 1849
- W. H. Webster (Wirecards), of Huddersfield, established 1770
as well as large interest in A. Blackburn and Co of Cleckheaton, maker of card setting machinery, and a controlling interest in Patchett Brothers of Halifax, manufacturers of cloth for foundations.
1961 Engaged in the manufacture of transmission belting, overall and card clothing.
