Carron and Forth Shipping Co

From Graces Guide

190 High Street, Kirkcaldy

1922 The Carron and Forth Shipping Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £3,000.[1] However, the company faced objections from the old-established Carron Company, who objected to the similarity of name as it impinged on their own shipping interests.[2]

1923 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[3]

1924 The company was succeeded by Leith and Kirkcaldy Steamers.
