Cessnock Dock

Cessnock Dock, Govan, was built for the Clyde Navigation Trust.

1888 Permission was granted to build the new dock on land acquired in 1870[1]

1892 The first steamer berthed in the North Basin at Cessnock

c.1897 The new Cessnock Docks were completed.
