1848 Born in Linthwaite the son of Charles Wilkinson, an Oil Merchant and local preacher, and his wife Mary

1902 October. Letter. Managing Director of the Wilkinson Tyre and Tread Co.[1]

1911 Living at Woodside Road, Beaumont Park, Huddersfield: Charles Henry Wilkinson (age 62 born Linthwaite, York), Motor Tyre Manufacturer - Employer. With his wife Jane Wilkinson (age 61 born Linthwaite, York) and their daughter Margaret Hilda Wilkinson (age 29 born Golcar). Also his grand-daughter Margaret Maris Wilkinson (age 3 born Buckfastleigh, Devon).[2]
