1880 Charles Henry Kempton, senior, and his sons started the Albert Glass Works in Vauxhall Walk.

Sons William, Charles and Richard Kempton were all involved in the business.

1916 Dissolution of the Partnership between Charles Henry Kempton, William James Kempton and Richard Kempton, carrying on business as Glass Manufacturers, at Albert Glass Works, 55 and 57, Vauxhall-walk, Lambeth, in the county of London, under the style or firm of C. KEMPTON & SONS. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm were to be received and paid by the said Charles Henry Kempton, who would continue the business under the style of the Lambeth Glass Works[1]
