1811 Married Mary Warrington Vanderwood in London

1820 Birth of son Charles William Lancaster

1826 Charles Lancaster founded his firm of gun makers, at 151 New Bond Street, London.

He soon gained a high reputation for the quality of his guns.

1847 Died at New Bond Street[2]

1850 His eldest son, Charles William Lancaster, was responsible for inventing the oval bore and constructed rifles using this system which were tested at the School of Musketry.
