We have learned with regret of the death of Mr. Charles Pinkham, which occurred on Sunday last, July 12th, at Weybridge, Surrey. He was sixty-four.

Until his retirement in 1950 Mr. Pinkham had been, for twenty-three years, manager of the publicity organisation of The General Electric Company, Ltd.

He first joined the G.E.C. in 1913 as personal assistant to the late Lord Hirst. Among his many activities, Mr. Pinkham was a member of the council of the Advertising Association and had served for fourteen years on the publicity committee of BEAMA.
