1911 Residing at 9 Charlotte Street, Crediton: Charles Sadler Bristow (age 45 born Gloucester), Chocolate Factory Works Manager. With his wife Ida Sarah Bristow; daughter Dora Bristow (age 16); Dudley Charles Bristow (age 13); Clyde Henry Bristow (age 9); Gordon Bristow (age 7); and Leslie George Bristow (age 6).[1]

1952 Died. 'Mr. Charles Sadler Bristow, of La Morna, People’s Park-road, Crediton, principal of Bristow's Butterscotch, Crediton, who died on October 2 last, aged 85'[2]
