Charles Septimus Adye (1841-1906), County Surveyor for Wiltshire

1906 Died. 'The death announced of Mr. Charles S. Adye, the County Surveyor for Wiltshire, who died at his residence, House, early on Saturday, after a very painful and long illness. The County Council had granted him leave of absence up to August next, hoping would able resume his duties. His lose will be very much regretted.'[1]
