1961 Engineers, manufacturing exhaust systems for cars and commercial vehicles. 300 employees. [2]

1969 Acquired disused aircraft factory at Squires Gate, Blackpool, to make silencers for cars, adding to the existing 5 factories[3]

1970 Hawtin Industries sold its interests in Cheswick and Wright to Tube Investments[4]
