Chiswick Bridge



Crosses the River Thames, connecting Chiswick and Mortlake.
Designed by Sir Herbert Baker in collaboration with Mr. A. Dryland and Considere Construction Co Ltd. Constructed by the Cleveland Bridge and Engineering Co
It has a central span of 150 foot, side spans of 125 foot and two land spans of 61 foot 6 inches, to allow the possible construction of riverside roadways. The Bridge carries a 40 foot roadway (the A316) and two 15 foot pathways. Reinforced concrete construction, faced entirely with Portland Stone. The cost was £208,284[1]
