1932 Died. 'The funeral service took place Lee Moor Wesleyan Church on Friday of Mr. Christopher Selleck, of Southaleigh Villa, near Ivybridge, who died after a long illness. Before going to Crediton, where he was in business as a baker and confectioner, Mr. Selleck was assistant manager the Dartmoor China Clay Co., Ltd., but on his return to the district about three years ago, he became a director in the firm Messrs. Selleck, Nicholls, Ltd., quarry owners, and held that post until the time his death...'[1]
