Clare Bridge
in Clare, Suffolk
This was the second cast iron arch bridge designed by William Cubitt and cast by Ransome and Son in 1813. It crosses the River Stour in three spans, whereas its predecessor, Brent Eleigh Bridge, had just one span. Cubitt's next example, Saul's Bridge, Witham, was built in 1814.[1]
