Clark Kincaid

1984 British Shipbuilders launched its company to build single engines, Clark Kincaid, formed from the Greenock firm John G. Kincaid and Co, and the Wallsend firm, Clark-Hawthorn. Clark Kincaid was now the only slow-speed engine builder on the UK mainland and assembly and testing of the engines would be concentrated at Greenock. It was expected to build about ten new engines a year, geared to the demands of BS merchant shipyards.[1]
