1928 The Clarmac Engineering Company Limited, 108 Douglas Street, Glasgow, was registered as a private company, with capital of £1,000, to carry on business as manufacturers and suppliers of switchboards, electrical apparatus, motors and machinery, and electrical engineers.[1]

1962 Acquired by John Wallace and Sons[2]
