Clayton Engineering and Electrical Construction Co. Ltd., of Newton, Hyde, Cheshire (originally the Clayton Foundry Co.), electrical power and light engineers, ironfounders and manufacturers of rubber and electrical machinery.

1901 The Clayton Engineering and Electrical Construction Co of Newton, Hyde was wound up with a view to reconstruction[1]

Financial and legal papers and correspondence, relating to the mortgage raised on the firm’s property in Newton and the subsequent voluntary liquidation of the company in 1902-1903.

1904 Struck off the register of joint stock companies[2]
