1881 Living at Castlemere, Castleton, Rochdale: Herbert Radcliffe (age 35 born Rochdale), MA Cambridge University, Cotton Spinner and Manufacturer - Widower. With his son Clifford Herbert Radcliffe (age 2 born Rochdale). Three servants.[1]

1911 Living at Button, Wimborne Road, Broadstone, Wimborne, Dorset: Clifford Herbert Radcliffe (age 32 born Rochdale), Motor Car Manufacturer - Employer. With his wife Caroline Radcliffe (age 34 born Rochdale) and their two children Constance Ethel Radcliffe (age 3 born Salisbury) and Herbert Bright Radcliffe (age 5 months born Salisbury). Two servants.[2]

1915 September. Killed in a furnace room accident involving munitions.
