2003 In April, Ashton Seals acquired of the gasket cutting company Clough (Croydon) Ltd, a specialist in the production of high quality gaskets, and the supply of sheet jointing.

2004 At the start of the year, Clough (Croydon) was fully integrated into Ashton Seals becoming the Ashton Seals Gasket Division, operating from premises in Barnsley.
