From Graces Guide

1869 James Allan leased the Coats Tube Works, Coatbridge, where he started business on his own account.

1879 Finding the works were not large enough, Allan built the Victoria Tube Works, Coatbridge, which were specially adapted for the manufacture of iron and steel boiler tubes, and for boiler tube ferrules.

1912 Incorporated into the Scottish Tube Co on its formation
