1910 The Cold Knott Colliery Company Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £8,000, to take over the existing business at Cold Knott Colliery.[1]

1914 Directors: John Harry Ramsey (Chairman), Edward Lyall, Thomas Snowdon and Percy Widdas. Speciality: coking coal.

1923 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[2]
