1893 Company founded as Connolly Brothers.

1895 Company registered. To acquire, take over as a going concern, and carry on the business of insulated cable manufacturers and electricians, carried on Blackley Vale Mills, Blackley, by J. T. Connolly and J. Connolly, as "Connolly Brothers" and to adopt a certain agreement. Subscribers are: J. T. Connolly, Yale Mills, Blackley, electrical engineer; J. Connolly, Yale Mills, Blackley, electrical engineer; T. Connolly, Eastwood, Clayton Bridge, engineer; L. Frankenstein, 33, Miller-street, Manchester, manufacturer; Mrs. E. Connolly, Eastwood, Clayton Bridge; W. Connolly, Eastwood, Clayton Bridge, engineer; J. H. Peters, 62, King-street, solicitor.[1]

1901 Member of the Cable Makers Association[2]

1909 'The electric cable works of Messrs. Connolly Brothers at Blackley, Manchester, were practically destroyed by fire early yesterday morning.'[3]

1919 Private company - Connollys (Blackley).

1920 Connolly Brothers was in liquidation.[4]
